BENTON – An early Wednesday morning traffic stop in Franklin County led to a Benton man’s arrest on drug-related charges.

Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon says around 12:50 a.m., a deputy stopped 59-year-old Brian K. Mann in rural Benton.

During the stop, K9 Vader and his handler were requested to respond. A free air sniff around the vehicle was conducted with positive results. A probable cause search was conducted. Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were soon recovered.

Mann was taken to the Franklin County Jail and charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
