MARION – The Williamson County Highway Department announced Friday that Thompsonville Road will now be closed from Locust Grove Road to Kimmel Road until Friday, Sept. 22 for the curve relocation project.

Work on the project began Sept. 5. The roadway was set to reopen on Tuesday, Sept. 19.

A signed detour will be provided along Locust Grove Road and Crawford Road in Williamson County and Kimmel Road in Franklin County.
