MARION – Marion Police are looking for a man allegedly involved in a recent home invasion.

Police Chief David Fitts says police received a 911 call at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23 reporting that an unknown male suspect, armed with a knife, had entered a home on Rolling Acres Drive, and assaulted and battered a woman at the home. She suffered minor injuries during the incident. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

The suspect remains unidentified, and Chief Fitts urges anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or has any information related to the incident, to call Marion Police at 618-993-2124. Your cooperation could be crucial in helping police identify and apprehend the individual responsible. This is an ongoing investigation.
