WEST FRANKFORT – The City of West Frankfort wants residents to know that due to the drastic number of calls and complaints coming in daily, solar solicitors are not allowed in West Frankfort.

According to post on the City of West Frankfort-Mayor’s Office Facebook page, fines are being issued to those soliciting without a permit.

If you see or have any solar solicitors come to your house during the day, call City Hall at 618-937-4512. If they come during evening hours, call West Frankfort Police on their non-emergency number. It’s 618-937-3502.
